IEEE Orlando Section Chair's Corner - August 2022

In past year or so the section has made steady progress in recruitment, retention, and activities. Last year we were recognized by the MGA for our recruitment and retention efforts. We are currently working on two challenges: a) organizing IEEE SoutheastCon 2023, and b) elevation of qualified members with 10 or more years of experience to senior membership. I am personally requesting all our section members to use your social media accounts and other possible avenues to inform our friends in the profession about the upcoming IEEE SoutheastCon 2023.
