The Spring and Fall Conferences are organized by the Southeastern Michigan Section of IEEE. A list of the conference committee is on the contact us pages.


About Southeastern Michigan

This conference is one of two yearly local Section Conferences presented by the Southeastern Michigan (SEM) Section of IEEE. Read a review of the past Spring 2009 Section Conference .

Detroit is the major city in Southeastern Michigan. However, the IEEE Section covers ten counties in southeastern Michigan and Ontario.

IEEE Organization

Our technical society chapters and their respective parent technical socieities are part of the IEEE Technical Activities Board (MGA).

Our Section is part of the IEEE   Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) Board. Our Section is in IEEE Region 4.

The IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional society with more than 360,000 members in more than 150 countries. It includes members who are practicing engineers, researchers, engineering professors, entrepreneurs, consultants, business owners and chief executives.
