Greetings West Michigan Consultants Network!

We have a meeting planned exactly one week from today, on Wednesday September 27, 2006. Details below:

Dinner: 6:00pm at La Flor Cafe on the NW corner of Burton and Eastern
Meeting: 7:30pm at DornerWorks, also on the same corner (751 Burton St.)

There is adequate parking in the lot shared between DornerWorks and La Flor Cafe - enter from Burton.

I have a tentative speaker lined up for the meeting as well: I would like to welcome Rob Bossemeyer who is relatively new to the area, moving here from Chicago. He is a consultant and has recently been involved in the "Application of Time Frequency Analysis Methods to Speaker Verification". His abstract is attached. If previous commitments keep Rob from making the presentation next week, there is a good chance he can present at the next meeting in November. So we should get a chance to learn about Rob's interesting work in speech recognition either way!

As always, there will be adequate time for networking and discussion of consulting topics, so bring your business cards! I hope to see you all there.
