Leonard Claude Simmonds
1917 - 2005

Claude was a founding member of the IEEE Canadian Foundation.   He was the General Chairman of the International Electrical & Electronics Conference and Exhibition in 1963 and 1981 and a member of the Board of Directors of IEEC Inc. until its evolution into the IEEE Canadian Foundation.   Claude was unanimously elected a Member Emeritus of the Foundation in 2003.
