Title: My Career Adventure at BC Hydro Abstract Bob will review his 38 years career at BC Hydro and why he views his time at BC Hydro as an adventure. He will also talk about how BC Hydro is dealing with the current Covid-19 situation. Biography Bob Stewart, Principal Electrical Engineer, has been with BC Hydro for 38 years in both technical and management roles. His experience spans working on designs in generation, transmission and distribution areas, as well as providing support for maintenance activities. This included several years at the Gordon Shrum Generating Station, on rotation, in the management of maintenance activities and operations. He has made strong contributions to the electrical engineering discipline as a Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Substation Committee as well as Chair of West Coast Subcommittee for Substations. He was BC Hydro's representative on the Electrical Power Apparatus Committee of Association of Edison Illuminating Companies (AEIC). Bob is a UBC graduate and a registered Professional Engineer in BC. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Past President of EGBC.
