About the Computer Chapter, France Section IEEE

A chapter is a technical entity within an IEEE section, made up of members of one or more IEEE sompanies or councils with common technical interests and geographical proximity. The activities of the chapters can be the reception of speakers, the organization of workshops, conferences or seminars, as well as social activities allowing the meeting between the members.

The chapters provide members of the Society to which they are attached with opportunities to progress personally and professionally. Their goal is to serve IEEE members at a local level.
