CONFERENCE REGISTRATION:
GENERAL INFORMATION

INTRODUCTION

Registration is required to attend the IEEE 2002 Canadian Conference of Electrical and Computer Engineering and to assure the publication of the paer in the CCECE02 Proceedings.

The first paper of all the PDF paper submissions must be accompanied by at least one full registration. Full-registration authors who have more than one paper, must pay the additional fee for each additional paer, unless a co-author has also registered and has paid the full registration. Student registration does not qualify as full registration.

There is a set of prices prior to March 15, 2002, and an increased set after that date. IEEE members have reduced priced relative to non-members. There is a full conference registration and one-day registration. There is also a set of fees for special functions and extra charges.

Due the deadline of April 15, 2002 for finalization of the CCECE02 Conference Proceedings, no registration refunds will be considered after that date.

FULL CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

Full registration entitles to all privilages at the conference, including:
  1. Attendance to all the technical paper sessions;
  2. Attendance to the plenary sessions;
  3. Attendance to exhibits;
  4. Attendance to tours;
  5. CCECE02 Proceedings (CD-ROM only);
  6. All the meals (breakfasts, lunches, including the banquet); and
  7. All the refreshment breaks.
Item 6 (meals included) is new to this conference in Winnipeg.

ONE-DAY CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

As with the full day, the one-day registration entitles to all privilages at the conference during one day only, excluding the banquet.

STUDENT CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

A student registration for CCECE02 includes:
  1. Attendance to the technical paper sessions;
  2. Attendance to the plenary sessions;
  3. Attendance to exhibits;
  4. Attendance to tours;
  5. CCECE02 Proceedings (CD-ROM only);
  6. All the meals provided by the conference (breakfasts, lunches, including the banquet);
  7. All the refreshment breaks; and
  8. A special event for graduate students registered at the CCECE02 on Tuesday night, May 14, 2002 (by invitation that you will receive from the Head of the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of Manitoba).
Item 6 (meals included) is new to this conference in Winnipeg.

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION

This registration entitles to attend the workshop on May 12, 2002 only, including
  • Workshop notes
  • Two refreshment breaks

ADDITIONAL CHARGES

Additional chanrges include
  1. Extra page charges (beyond the limit of 6 pages);
  2. Additional paper charges by an author with full registration;
  3. Additional conference proceedings (both paper and electronic); and
  4. Additional tickets for the banquet and luncheons.

PAYMENT

Payment in Canadian Dollars should be made to the CCECE02 by
  1. Personal cheques;
  2. Money Orders;
  3. Traveler's cheques;
  4. Major credit cards (VISA and MasterCard); and
  5. Cash.
The payment should be mailed or faxed to the CCECE02 Conference Secretariat,using the dowloadable Registration Forms.

One registration form is in either PDF or PstScript. It is designed for printing, filling it out by hand, and either mailing or faxing it.

The other two registration forms are electronic, one for Before March 15, 2002, and the other for After March 15, 2002. They are also in PDF, but with electronic entries and e-mailing. This form is clearly preferable.
