Abstract

This talk will address the resource challenges and exciting opportunities in Power Industries and the educational partnership aspects of Hydro One



Presenter's Biography

TOM GOLDIE is presently the Senior Vice President – Corporate Services for Hydro One. In this role, he is responsible for the Human Resources, Labour Relations, Corporate Security and Information Technology functions within the company. Tom has been with Hydro One since its inception, and prior to that, was with Ontario Hydro from 1977 to 1999. Tom has spent his career in the human resources function, working in various branches within Ontario Hydro prior to joining Hydro One. Tom is also involved in a number of external organizations including the Canadian Employers Council, the Human Resources Professionals Association of Canada, the Conference Board of Canada Human Resources Executive Council, the Canadian Electricity Association, and the Electricity Sector Council. Tom has a Bachelors degree and a Masters of Industrial Relations degree from the University of Toronto.
