Student Paper Competition

For papers that are primarily authored by an IEEE Student Member or Members, they will be considered for the Student Paper Competition. The best paper selected from each Program Track will be given an award and will be invited to submit the paper for publication in a special edition of the Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Eligible papers entered for the Student Paper Competition will be integrated into the regular Conference sessions. Judging of the Student Papers will be done solely on the basis of the written submission.

Note: To be eligible, the first author listed on the paper must be a student and must appropriately indicate on the registration form their desire to enter the Competition. For Competition purposes, a student is defined as someone who is registered full-time in a degree program in a University/College and who is an IEEE Student Member.
