Denis Laurendeau Spacer

Dr. Denis Laurendeau

Denis Laurendeau has been a professor of computer programming and software engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Laval University in Quebec since January 1987.

His research interests include artificial vision, simulation, and sensor design for computer vision. He is currently involved in the organization of international conferences and workshops such as 3DIM and ICPR 2002. He is the past president of the Canadian Image Processing and Pattern Recognition Society, an interest group of the Canadian Information Processing Society. He is a member of the Computer Vision and Systems Laboratory at Laval University.

He is a former co-editor of the Canadian Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
