Peng Hu received the M.S. degree from Wuhan University of Technology, China, in 2007, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada, in 2013. He is currently an Embedded Software Engineer at CMC Microsystems, Kingston, where he has been managing and developing R&D projects regarding sensor networks, embedded systems, and Internet of Things.
He was the organizer of the 2014 IEEE CCECE Workshop on Networking and Cloud Computing Test-beds (WNCCT). He served in the program committee of the 9th International Conference on Future Networks and Communications (FNC’14) and the 2014 International Symposium on Emerging Inter-networks, Communication and Mobility (EICM). He served as publicity chair for the 5th International Conference on Emerging Ubiquitous Systems and Pervasive Networks (EUSPN’14). His current research interests include cyber-physical systems, sensor network virtualization and test-beds, embedded software, and energy harvesting enabled communications.
