CODE-X organized following events in 2013-2014.

1. Code-x orientation: The first meet of our SIG ( Special Interest Group) took place on 4th October. 40 people turned up. Speaker was Prateek Arora. Students were taught Golden rules of programming and introduced code-x' objective, i.e to bridge the gap between the learned ones and beginners, simultaneously making them compete among each other to test themselves. The session was concluded with some interview questions, for which the students should be prepared early in their education.

2. Weekly Coding Quiz: 5 coding quiz were organized in the month of September, every sunday, with constant clearing of concepts and mentorship needed in the field of programming.

3. Coding Week: From 14th october to 19th october, a coding week was organized wherein a question was posted every morning based on real time programming. Students had to submit their solutions to an email address and were replied with their marks evaluated by the scrutinizing committee incorporating Prabhjot singh, shubham agarwal and sumit dhawan. Students were evaluated on the basis of logic, format, output and compilation errors. over 20 people participated in this maiden coding week from codex. Chayan Gulati won the week, with maximum 50 points out of 60.
