Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College, an Autonomous Institute managed by Charutar Vidya Mandal was established in 1948 from donations made by the Birla Education Trust on the behest of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the first Home Minister of independent India. The college was inaugurated by Lord Mountbatten, the Governor General of India on 14 June 1948, and rose to prominence under the stewardship of Prof. Junnarkar and Prof. K.M. Dholakia. It was one of the few colleges in India that adopted the progressive credit system of relative grading in India. The college has awarded degrees to over 20,000 graduates.

IEEE BVM SB

Student Branch

IEEE BVM SB was established on 29th August 2016. The main moto of Student Branch is to connects engineers from various department of the institute to come together, identify problem statements and act accordingly to improvise and promote Technical Activities which can in turn be formed for "Advancing Technology for Humanity". It aims to give students the cutting-edge skills, confidence and intellect with which they can easily face the competitive world and contribute for human welfare by organizing competitions, workshops, expert talks, seminars and symposiums on different technical topics.

International Tech Conclave

ITC: 2020

It gives us great happiness to let you know that we, the Team IEEE BVM SB are planning to organize our online flagship event International Tech Conclave – ITC 2020 during the period of 26th April 2020 – 30th April 2020. For this mega event we will be having a total of 5 International and National Speakers covering all the technical and necessary domains of Engineering. They are the best in their respective fields of work and research and we believe that the firsthand knowledge that we can receive from these experts will be unparalled. We can educate large number of people at the same time using optimum technological platforms for e-Conclave and YouTube, and this is the driving force for the event.
