Call for Student Papers
Printable Version

As in past years, the 2006 IEEE Radar Conference is soliciting papers from full-time students interested in attending the conference. Student papers will be presented in a special poster session and will be published in the Conference Proceedings. A prize for the best student paper will be awarded.

Interested student authors wishing to participate in the Student Paper Contest must submit a paper addressing radar and its many related technologies as listed in the Call for Papers. All papers must be submitted electronically using the paper submission link below. Please mark the paper header in bold with the following: “For student paper competition” and please choose the Student Paper Contest track on the submission page when submitting the paper. Authors of selected papers will be notified by December 9, 2005.

The conference paper selection committee will evaluate all student papers for technical merit, novelty, and quality of presentation. Faculty members may be co-authors of student papers but the student must be the major contributor and serve as first author. With their paper submission, student authors must also provide a letter from their department head confirming their status as a full-time graduate or undergraduate student.

The 2006 IEEE Radar Conference will provide some support for travel and conference expenses to eligible student authors of accepted papers, based on available funding.

Please address any questions concerning the Student Call for Papers or the 2006 IEEE Radar Conference Student Program to the contacts listed below.
