The increasing scale of integration of systems of all types is resulting in higher demands for energy efficiency. In particular, the increasing prevalence of battery-operated devices, such as for remote sensing, biomedical applications and wireless communications, poses various challenges related with energy consumption, dissipation, and harvesting.
IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Dallas chapter is conducting a two day workshop (DCAS-2009) to provide a forum for sharing recent work on Energy Efficient Circuits and Systems.
The workshop will consist of invited seminars as well as peer reviewed papers. Papers will be accepted for lecture or poster presentation. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and online at IEEE Xplore.
DCAS-2009 is sponsored by the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (Dallas Chapter), and will be held on the campus of The University of Texas at Dallas.
