The goal of the Ottawa Chapter of the IEEE Power
and Energy Society (PES) is to serve its members by organizing and providing
technical, educational and professional meetings as well as seminars, forums,
symposia and conferences presented by experienced speakers and distinguished
lecturers.
Topics are
a broad range of disciplines, and mainly focused on
electric power and energy, merging technologies and
the latest technological developments in the electric power industry that guide
the development and construction of equipment and systems, as well as for
educating members of the industry and the general public
Ottawa IEEE-PES Chapter functions are to promote
close cooperation and exchange of technical information among its members and
the members of other societies chapters of IEEE Ottawa Section.
