Description

In cooperation with the University of Geneva, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 14th congress of OESO / OESO Foundation. This event will illustrate the continuation of OESO’s relentless pursuit, carried on since its founding, to achieve benchmark syntheses in Esophagology.

The original OESO format of Questions/Answers in 5 minutes will be applied in most of the 46 sessions, which will deal with the 19 disciplines represented in OESO.

You will have the opportunity to make your choice among sessions that will go deeply into precise topics in a variety of domains, as well as purely clinical sessions with debates on such subjects as alternative therapies for GERD, surgical innovations, classification of cancers, etc…, all targeted on your everyday practice.

Several sessions will be left to the initiative of young investigators, and a number of Training Courses will be available in the program, pertaining to Endoscopic Surgery, Laparoscopic Surgery, or Robotics, with Simulation devices of the latest generation at your disposal in the brand new Learning Center of the University of Geneva, as well as in the University Hospital. They will be organized for beginners and for experts.

Posters and oral presentations, related to any topic on the upper digestive tract will be welcome. The Conference is constructed in order to maximize the contact between Industry and faculty and attendees.

The aim is to present, in a true trans-disciplinary way, the study of one organ, the esophagus, in all its aspects, from its physiological functions to  diverse possible pathological evolutions.

Throughout four intense days, you will have golden opportunities to meet world renowned specialists from all fields, to extend your knowledge, and to benefit from daily hands-on sessions
on a vast range of specializations.

The 14th OESO Conference in Geneva promises to be enriching, and one of a kind.

See you there in Geneva!
