At the outset accept our humble regards and a hearty Namaskar, As We feel immense please and honour in inviting you for the 66 th Annual National Conference of Anaesthesiologists - ISACON 2018 scheduled on nov 25 - 29, 2018 at Jaypee Palace Hotel and The Convention Centre Agra.
ISACON 2018 will provide an excellent platform for enriching knowledge, sharing experience and cultural exchange among anaesthesiology fraternity from different parts of India and abroad.
The scientific committee will lay out a state of the art, educational and scientific project includes of clinical Anaesthesiology, pain & palliative care and critical care.
AGRA - The City of Tajmahal. A melange of the past and the present of its people and its antiquity. A city populatar for its Mughal monuments Agra was in the 16 th & 17 th centuries, one of the capitals of Mughals. Agra derives its Fame from the world famous Taj Mahal. The city with its laidback lifestyle and wealth of architecture, handicrafts and jewellery is amongst the most distinct cities of the world. Other historic places of interest are the Red Fort, Sikandra, RadhaSwami temple and Fatehpur sikri. Places near Agra and Firozabad famous for its glass work and Mathura Vrindavan for their holy temples.

Author guidelines
BEFORE you submit, please go through the following guidelines:
Only ISA Members are allowed to submit abstracts and present paper or posters. It is mandatory to quote your ISA number. Registration for ISACON 2018 is mandatory for any presentation.
Instructions for abstract preparation :
- There are 3 modes of presentation: Oral Free Paper, Oral Flash Paper and E-Poster . Please indicate whether the abstracts submitted shall be for oral or e poster presentation. However the final decision to allocate an abstract to any type of presentation rests with the Scientific Committee.
- Oral presentation: Paper to be presented orally, with the help of slides.No more than 7 minutes are allowed for presentation; 2 minutes are reserved for discussion/questions. The total maximum time for presentation and discussion will not exceed 10 minutes.
- Flash Paper Presentations: Paper to be presented briefly, with the help of slides. No more than 4 minutes are allowed for presentation, with a maximum of five slides (Aims and Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions); 2 minutes are reserved for questions. The total maximum time for presentation and questions will not exceed 6 (six) minutes.
- E-Poster presentation: There will be no paper posters. All papers selected for poster presentation will be displayed as Electronic Posters (E-Posters). An electronic poster (E-Poster) is a poster in PowerPoint format. All multi-media E-posters will be presented at numbered monitors in the main poster display hall. E-poster presentations are 4 minutes in length, and authors must be available for questions at an assigned time, and at an assigned computer. In addition, meeting attendees have access to all e-posters on the monitors at any other time during the meeting. The list of names of the selected e-posters will be displayed on the website. Details on how to prepare E-poster will be put up later. Presenting authors will also be given instructions on preparation of E-posters when their abstract is accepted as an E-poster.
Word Limit:
- The abstract must be written in 250 characters (including letters and spaces) or less, excluding title, and the names of the author (s) and their institutions/affiliation.
Content (The submitted abstracts must contain the following):
- Objectives: State the main objective of the study
- Materials and methods: Briefly describe the design of the study and how it was conducted
- Results: Present the main results with an indication of variability and precision of comparison where appropriate.
- Conclusion: Limit the conclusions to those that are directly supported by the results.
- Abstracts without results, or those with statements such as 'the results will be analysed and presented later' are liable to be rejected.
