Description
IEEE Global Conference on Internet of Things (IEEE GCIOT) aims to be a regional leading annual conference and forum for IoT Innovation and research. Where Hundreds of participants gather to present research results, share visions and ideas, obtain updates on latest technologies and expand professional and social networking.
The 2017 GCIoT was held last year at Bibliotheca Alexandrina and welcomed more than 200 attendees, Tens of keynote speeches and discussion panels with plenty of international speakers, attendees, and moderators, establishing the conference as a success and the regions foremost forum for IoT innovation.
2017 GCIoT conference have consisted of keynote speeches, discussion panels, and technical sessions.
2018 IEEE GCIOT will continue the success of its predecessor and will add to it by providing a leading forum for disseminating the latest results in IoT research, development, and applications.
2018 IEEE GCIoT is sponsored by the IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS), IEEE IoT Initiative, the National Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (NTRA), Borg Al-Arab Innovation Cluster, Alexandria University and Bibliotheca Alexandrina. We project that Hundreds of scientific researchers, research groups, and industries submit proposals for program sessions to be held at the conference. After extensive peer review, the best of the proposals will be selected for the conference program, which includes technical papers, tutorials, workshops and industry sessions designed specifically to advance IoT technologies, systems, and infrastructure that are continuing to reshape the world and make our cities smarter and more sustainable.
This 3-day event includes several keynote speeches by distinguished speakers from industry, academia and government sectors; panels and forums; technical sessions featuring technical papers extensively reviewed by peers; workshops focusing on the latest trends in various IoT related technologies ; tutorials delivered by experts in respective disciplines; exhibits; and a relaxing and entertaining banquet.
