On behalf of the organizing committee, I am glad to invite you to attend the III IEEE World Engineering Education Conference EDUNINE2019. The conference will be held in Lima, Peru, the City of Kings that is located on the central coast of the Pacific Ocean in South America, from March 17 to 20, 2019, at the headquarters of the Universidad del Pacífico, located in Av. Salaverry 2020, Jesús María District of Lima, Peru.
The theme of this edition of the conference is Modern Educational Paradigms for Computer and Engineering Careers. The main objective is to provide innovative solutions to the challenges currently facing Engineering and Computer Education in order to contribute to the improvement of the educational quality.
IEEE World Engineering Education Conference - EDUNINE is a unique and innovative international conference that favors the exchange of knowledge, experiences and is a meeting point for academics, professionals, researchers and students of education in Engineering, Computing and related topics from Latin America and the rest of the world. The program of the conference covers the main issues that are presented in education today, among which stand out: the design and development of new learning environments, the use of new technologies and experiences, the motivation of students, the evaluation of learning and competences, intervention in the face of learning difficulties, etc.
The IEEE World Engineering Education Conference - EDUNINE will be held every year in a different Latin American city. It is an annual conference of the IEEE Education Society organized jointly with COPEC for Region 9 (Latin America). This conference is part of the renowned list of regional conferences of this Society that are: FIE (Region 1-7, United States and Canada), EDUCON (Region 8, Europe and Africa), EDUNINE (Region 9, Latin America) and TALE (Region 10, Asia and Oceania).
The language of the papers for publication in the IEEE Xplore® digital library of IEEE is English for further international dissemination. The languages for the oral presentations of the papers in the sessions of the congress are English and also Portuguese and Spanish, corresponding to the most spoken languages in the Latin American region. The papers will be evaluated by peers based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability.
The committee organizer is proud to organize this conference and also has prepared a comprehensive and expected satisfactory cultural program. We are equally looking forward to welcoming you in Lima so that together we can enjoy the activities of the congress and each and every one of the possibilities offered by the city, its art, its culture, its gastronomy and the hospitality of its people.

Author guidelines
Prospective authors are invited to submit original, unpublished papers to the conference, in one of the Submission types listed below. We are especially interested in papers that explore the following areas: classroom experiences, teaching techniques, curricular initiatives, pedagogical tools or educational research projects. Papers should address one or more of the suggested topics (see the Topics of Congress section of the conference website for more information). Note that an ABSTRACT SUBMISSION is required for all papers and it is due a week before the paper is due. The submission should not been under consideration in another journal/conference.
All papers must be written in English which is the official language of the Conference in order to address a wider audience and in accordance to the IEEE requirements for publishing a conference article in the IEEE Xplore® digital library.
Papers that are accepted will be submitted for publishing in IEEE Xplore® digital libraryIEEE Xplore® digital library providing at least one author completes registration (including payment) and presents the work at the Conference in English, Portuguese or Spanish (see the Fees and Registration section of the conference website for more information about registration).
All presentations will be oral presentations. There will be no poster sessions.
Unfortunately, we cannot publish any paper in disagreement with the criteria listed above, in particular not presented papers and for which we have not received the registration fee.
