The 23rd Conference on Process Integration, Modelling and Optimisation for Energy Saving and Pollution Reduction, PRES'20, will take place in Xi’an, China from 17 to 21 August, 2020 .PRES'20 will be jointly organised by the Xi’an Jiaotong University.
The aim of the PRES conferences is to review the latest development and applications of Process Integration for energy conservation, pollution reduction and related topics. Industrial experience is especially welcome.
PRES has a long tradition of promoting excellence in poster presentations. In 2018, a new SPIL Young Speakers Award, sponsored by SPIL Project at Brno Univ. Tech. CZ, was added. Awards include certificates, Sustainability and Process Integration books, and invitations to submit to one of the Special Issues. Xi’an has strong scientific achievements and rich cultural traditions. It has more than 40 universities, of which Xi'an Jiaotong University is the leading one. Xi'an is the capital of more than 10 dynasties of ancient China, at the eastern end of the Silk Road. It is the home to the famous Terracotta Warriors, having a preserved majestic City Wall. The city has its own international airport, with connections to Malaysia, Korea, Russian Federation, Japan, Czech Republic, Australia, Finland, France, Italy, Thailand, Kazakhstan, Singapore to as well as to Beijing-Capital and other airports within China.
