Description
In recent years, research design and data analysis have received widespread attention due to advancements in various areas of biostatistical research. Previous Joint Biostatistics Symposium held by universities in mainland China has fostered dialogue among biostatisticians from mainland China and abroad, as well as promoting an interdisciplinary approach for research.
International Society of Biometrics-Chinese Region, Peking University, the Chinese Association of Applied Statistics, China Association for Applied Statistics - Biomedical Statistics, in collaboration with other renowned organizations, are jointly hosting the 6th IBS-China Biostatistical Conference & The Satellite Conference of IBC2020 (SC-IBC2020) between June 30 and July 2, 2020, in Beijing, China.

Call for paper description
1. Requirements:
- The paper should include abstract (500 words both in English and Chinese) or full text(less than 8000 words).name of the author, positional titles, work unit, address, postal code, phone number (cell phone) and e-mail.
- Send the paper via email to pkubiostat@126.com. Papers due on June 1, 2020
- The name of your paper or subject of e-mail should mark “6th IBS-China Biostatistical Conference + topic+work unit+ name”.
- If private contents involved, please keep your privacy by yourselves.
2. Selection of Papers
The program committee will discuss on the papers for this symposium, select the best ones and be published in the special issue of Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Some of them can also be recommended for possible publication in journals like Statistic in Medicine and Statistic in Biosciences.
Selected papers will be also published as a proceeding of the symposium; if your papers are selected, and you are interested in publishing them in the proceeding, please submit your English and Chinese abstract and full text; another announcement will be made for the publication charges.
3. Please keep original manuscript yourselves, the program committee has right to edit them.
