Description

On behalf of the Organising Committee of the ICARE 2017, we are pleased to invite you to join us in Venice, Italy, 25th-29th March, 2017.

The ICARE is held every two years. In 2017, the ICARE will be hosted for the first time in Italy having won the bid process from other competing countries. To host such a prestigious conference is an honor and we will try to come up to your expectation.

The main conference will be held over three days; up to three parallel rooms will run simultaneously bringing together world experts in exotic animals exploring the latest updates in medicine, surgery, diagnostic imaging, welfare, anesthesia and pain management and a variety of other topics. In addition, a wide range of Masterclasses and Workshops are planned at the Veterinary University of Padua the week-end prior to the Conference to give you an excellent excuse for an extended visit to Venice which is one of the most visited cities in the world and offers guided tourist itineraries and walks ranging from the monuments around St. Mark's Square to the treasures hidden in the churches and art museums of the city.

Italy has a long standing reputation for the quality of the continuing education, so the health and welfare of all the exotic species is of vital importance, for the animals themselves, the people who work with them and for the nation as a whole. We should all be very proud of where we are today and excited about where we are headed.

We believe that this conference will be an ideal opportunity for you to share and improve your knowledge, meet the experts and explore all the new techniques related to the exotic animals field.

In this regard we are pleased to invite you at this prestigious event. We hope to provide you with the opportunity to get in touch with people who, like you, dedicate their working lives to improving the health and welfare of all the exotic species. On behalf of the Local Organising Committee, we hope that this congress will be of interest to you and we would be pleased to welcome you in Venice.
