On May 14, 2011, at the Digital Bridge Institute in the Federal Capital city of Abuja, IEEE Nigeria held a special Technical and Administrative meeting. One of the major highlight of the administrative meeting was the official inauguration of the new executive members of the Nigeria section. The New Executives are: Prof. (Mrs) Gloria Chukwudebe (Section Chair) Raphael Onoshakpor (Section Vice Chair) John Funso-Adebayo (Section Secretary) Prince Ibe (Section Publicity Secretary) Chidinma Ibeh (Treasurer) Ifeoma Okoye (WIE Coordinator) Otunte Otueneh (Section Assistant Secretary) Olasunkanmi Bello (Student Affairs Coordinator) The inauguration exercise was conducted by the Past President, Engr. Isaac Adekanye and ably supported by the Immediate Past President, Engr. Tunde Salihu who now takes overs as the Section’s Membership Director.
