Recipients of Best Paper Awards

Three papers were awarded Best Paper under three categories at this year’s conference. The awards were presented to the authors at the closing ceremony of the conference.

“Most Interesting Experimental Finding” Award

Jonathan Mumm & Bilge Mutlu for their paper “Human-Robot Proxemics: Physical and Psychological Distancing in Human-Robot Interaction”

“Most Interesting Interaction” Award

Steve Yohanan & Karon E. MacLean for their paper “Design and Assessment of the Haptic Creature’s Affect Display”
