As an organization at the forefront of human-robot interaction, we would like to invite you to support HRI 2014—the 9th annual IEEE/ACM International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction, to be held in Bielefeld, Germany, on March 3–6, 2014. This year’s conference is dedicated to “(E)merging Perspectives,” which seeks to combine both user and system perspectives to advance new methodologies. HRI is a single-track, highly selective annual conference that seeks to showcase the very best research in human-robot interaction with roots in robotics, psychology, cognitive science, HCI, human factors, artificial intelligence, organizational behavior, anthropology, among other fields.
The conference will be held at the Bielefeld University Campus in Germany, bringing together researchers from all over the world. Previous HRI conferences have attracted an increasing number of participants: 346 in Tokyo, Japan (2013), 332 in Boston, USA (2012), 290 in Lausanne, Switzerland and 250 in Osaka, Japan (2010). With the best minds and leading researchers in the field present, we wish to bring together organizations interested in the latest technological advances in HRI, and invite your participation in this event. We offer several levels of support, with various benefits associated with each level, as follows:
Contribution | Benefits |
Bronze $1,000 |
|
Silver $2,500 |
|
Gold $5,000 |
|
Platinum $7,500 |

The levels above are guidelines. In-kind contributions are also welcome. We hope that you will support real world HRI research by joining us in Bielefeld this March. Please contact Maya Cakmak for more information.
