Sami Haddadin is Director of the Munich School of Robotics and Machine Intelligence at TUM. His research deals with the fundamentals of robotics and artificial intelligence for creating intelligent machines. He received degrees in EE, CS and Technology Management from TUM and LMU. He received his doctorate from RWTH Aachen. He was a research scientist at the DLR and Professor at Leibniz University Hannover, Germany. He was Visiting Researcher at Willow Garage and Stanford University. He is the founder of Franka Emika and recipient of the Presidential German Future Award and Leibniz Prize.
