EVENTS DURING QUARTER 3, 2005

Student Activities

1.      Student Leadership Workshop was conducted at Siddaganga Institute of Technology (SIT), Tumkur in September 2005. Mr. K. Ramakrishna  Wg. Cdr. H.R.Parthasarathy, and Dr, T. Srinivas have attended the Inaugural function on the first day.   Dr. Surendra Pal, Prof. K. Rajagopal and Mr. V.V. Srinivasan participated in the Valedictory function on the second day.  

2.      Student Branch at PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore was inaugurated on 21^st September 2005.  The Student Branch had started with a record number of 184 student members.  Mr. K. Ramakrishna from Bangalore Section have attended the inaugural function. Dr. T. Srinivas delivered a talk on Photonics

3.      IEEE HQ has approved opening of Student Branches at CMRIT College, Bangalore and Hirasugar Institute of Technology, Nidasoshi. 

4.      Annual Tech. Fest at VVCE, Mysore was held on 30^th September and on 1^st October, 2005. Wg. Cdr Parthasarathy attended the inaugural Session.
