Emerging Trends in Wireless Networks
Call for Registration
Wireless is the latest buzz in the industry, with mobile subscriptions overtaking the fixed network subscriptions in many places. Wireless is no longer just synonymous with voice communication; wireless data networks are catching the industry imagination. Wi-fi, Wi-MAX networks are now a reality and are increasing the user base enabling further extensions. Newer technologies like Wireless Sensor networks, Mobile Adhoc networks (MANETs), RFID are expanding the scope of wireless networks. This progress in network evolution demands enhanced architectures, optimal network management, newer protocols throwing open challenges for experts.
IEEE Bangalore Section’s Annual Symposium 2005 will offer opportunities for students and professionals to delve in to the intricacies of the heterogeneous wireless networks and the emerging applications and services they deliver in the following sessions:

Symposium offers Industry invited talks on future trends in wireless networks by technology leaders from Intel, Siemens, Motorola, Lucent, IBM , Infosys, ADC - Krone, D- link, etc.

Venue – Hotel Capitol
The venue, Hotel Capitol is located on Raj Bhavan Road, next to the All India Radio and diagonally opposite to General Post Office (GPO). Vidhana Soudha and Raj Bhavan are located near by to Hotel Capitol. The distance from Bangalore City Railway station is around 7 Kms.
Registration Details
The registration form and fee must be sent to the Convener of the Symposium at the address given below. Mode of payment would be Cash at Venue/DD/Local-cheque (Outstation cheques will not be accepted). The cheque or draft should be drawn on 'IEEE Bangalore Section', Payable at Bangalore ( DONOT draw cheque in the name of convener or Ravikiran. A etc).
Every one, including authors/paper presenters are required to register. Advance registration before 5:00 PM on 20th November 2005 is necessary even in case you wish to pay by cash on the venue (e-mail the registration form to Ravikiran.A@gmail.com). Otherwise mail the Registration Form along with the DD/Cheque to:
