Shankar Lal Maskara Jaypee Inst. of Information Technology, NOIDA Shankar Lall Maskara holds B.Sc. (Engineering), M.E. and Ph.D. degrees and is a Life Senior Member of the IEEE. He was a faculty member in the Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering Department of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur from 1966 to 2004. His research interests include Wireless and Mobile Communications, Spread Spectrum Techniques, Code Division Multiple Access, Error Control Coding and Telecommunication Networks. |

Anil K. Roy DA-IICT, Gandhinagar (Chair, IEEE Gujarat Section) Anil K. Roy is an alumnus of IIT Delhi from where he earned his Ph.D. in Physics in the area of Quantum Optics in 1993. After that he was associated with Centre for Theoretical Studies at IISc Bangalore during 1993-94. He worked with Optical Fiber group at IIT Delhi till 1996 before joining industries. He joined DA-IICT as faculty in 2003. His main academic interest areas are nanoscience, fiber optics, semiconductor physics and application of ICT in Agriculture. He is a senior member of IEEE. He is also the Chair of IEEE Gujarat Section. |

Kasi Rajgopal IISc Bangalore (Chair, IEEE India Council) Prof. K. Rajgopal obtained Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore, in 1985. He joined the Department of Electrical Engineering at IISc as Lecturer in 1985, and is currently Associate Professor. His research interests are in Bio-Signal Processing, Medical Imaging and Computed Tomography, Adaptive Signal Processing, Real-time Signal Processing with DSP processors. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, USA. He has served as Secretary, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the IEEE Bangalore Section during the period 1996-2001 and currently the chairman of IEEE India Council. He has received the Outstanding Student Branch Counselor and Region 10 Outstanding Volunteer Award from IEEE. |
