2004 IEEE WIE Affinity Group of the Year Award

IEEE WIE Winnipeg was the recipient of the 2004 IEEE WIE Affinity Group of the Year Award. The award committee noted that "WIE Winnipeg demonstrated strong leadership, organized events, positive membership growth, effective communications, a well designed web-site including availability of meeting minutes and quality programs and activities". 2005 IEEE Canada Women In Engineering Prize sponsored by the Judy Clift fund

Jennifer Jessop, past chair of IEEE WIE Winnipeg, was the recipient of the 2005 IEEE Canada Women In Engineering Prize. This Prize is awarded to a female IEEE Canada member who received her first professional degree within the last ten years and who is active in IEEE activities.
