IEEE RoPES Students Brach Chapter was set up in 2004, and
developed its activities under the tutelage of the Senior Chapter.
The aim of the Student Branch is to help the students (at
all levels) in the area of power systems, power electronics and other related
fields, to:
- integrate
in the research environment;
- discover
scientific publications;
- develop
managerial skills;
- get
in touch with IEEE students from other countries;
- share
innovative ideas at a larger extent;
The Student Branch Chapter was involved in organizing
several activities, such as:
- student
contests
- workshops
entitled “Open doors to promote young researchers”
- student
trips at power utilities
- Summer
Schools with international participation
and other activities of the Senior Chapter. |
