The IEEE Region 1 Student Activities Committee (R1 SAC) is the premier resource for the professional advancement of Region 1 IEEE student members, undergraduate and graduate alike.
R1 SAC's Mission: To engage the Region 1 IEEE Student Body through the sharing of ideas between students regionally, hosting mentally stimulating regional events, providing material support and advice at all levels for our students, and creating strong relationships between student and Region 1 members alike to close the disconnect between our students and IEEE.
IEEE R1 Student Branches can lean on the R1 SAC for anything regarding branch formation to event planning and execution, as well as finding avenues to get involved regionally. IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu (HKN) Honor Society chapters are also looked after by the R1 SAC.
The R1 SAC is experiencing a revival of Renaissance-level proportions! If you would like to get involved, please contact Dr. Charles Rubenstein, Region 1 Student Activities Chair at c.rubenstein@ieee.org !
