  • Distance education and on-line learning;
  • Co-op programs.

WELCOME TO PARTICIPANTS

We welcome participation from Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and Computer Science (CS) faculty members, and would like to see at least one representative from each ECE department and each interested CS department in Canada. The conference registration of $200 will include all meals (two breakfasts, two lunches, one dinner, and four refreshment breaks), and conference proceedings in a printed form. Since the conference will take place on the campus, an inexpensive accommodation ($32 single, $23 double) has been arranged at a University of Manitoba residence.

COLLOCATION WITH CCECE02

To reduce the cost of flying, the C3SEE02 will take place immediately after the IEEE 2002 Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering, CCECE02, so that some of the participants could attand both conferences.

ABSTRACT AND PAPER SUBMISSIONS

Participants interested in giving a presentation are asked to submit an abstract of no more than one page to the C3SEE02 Secretariat before April 19, 2002. The deadline for submitting the presentations (as PDF files only, with two or three viewgraphs per page) or papers (as PDF files only) to the C3SEE02 Secretariat is May 8, 2002.

Your submission should include three keywords and one or two appropriate topics from the above list, as well as the name of a contact person with e-mail and postal addresses, as well as phone and fax numbers.

CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

We will publish C3SEE02 Proceedings containing the presentation viewgraphs or written papers, if available, and distribute the proceedings in a printed form to the registrants at the conference.
