[] About this Conference
The IEEE Canadian Conference on Computer and Software Engineering Education (C3SEE) brings educational, research & development, and industrial leaders to discuss recent issues in developing Computer Engineering and Software Engineering programs and options at Canadian universities.

The conference moves between various Canadian cities. For example, the latest three conferences took place at the:

  • University of Calgary, AB, February 29-30, 2004 (10th),
  • University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, MB, May 16 to 17, 2002 (9th),
  • University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, NB, May 30 to June 1, 2001 (8th); and
The first seven conferences were organized by:
  • University of British Columbia in Vancouver, BC, June 3 to 4, 1999 (7th).
  • University of Waterloo, ON, May 8 to 9, 1997 (6th);
  • Memorial University in St. John's, NF, 1995 (5th);
  • Concordia University in Montreal, PQ, 1993 (4th);
  • University of Victoria, BC, 1991 (3rd);
  • Royal Military College in Kingston, ON, 1989 (2nd); and
  • University of Alberta in Edmonton, 1987 (1st).

In order to reflect the importance of Computer and Software Engineering in education, we have been working towards increasing the frequency from biennial to annual. In 2001, the name was changed from Canadian Conference on Computer Engineering Education (C3E2) to C3SEE.
