Dr. Prabhat Ranjan
Dr. Prabhat Ranjan is currently Executive Director of Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC). TIFAC is technology foresight body of India and operates as an autonomous body under Dept of Science and Technology, Govt of India. He obtained his bachelors from IIT Kharagpur and masters from Delhi University. Subsequently he received his PhD degree from University of California, Berkeley based on his research related to nuclear fusion at Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory during 1983-86. He was a recipient of National Science Talent Search award in 1976. Immediately after his doctorate, he returned to India to participate in the Nuclear Fusion Program of the country that was at nascent stage. He continued his research at Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata and Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar, making a major contribution to this area by bringing Tokamaks (experimental nuclear fusion reactors) to international standards of performance. He was project leader of Aditya Tokamak and SST-1 Tokamak Operation and Control Group till 2002. From 2002 to 2013, he served as Professor at Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology, (DA-IICT), Gandhinagar. During this period he worked on many real life problems including societal issues. He used his expertise in embedded systems and sensor network to carry out technological innovations spanning areas of wildlife tracking, planetary exploration, nuclear fusion and disability sector. His work has won him many accolades including HP Innovate 2009 award, NCPEDP-Emphasis Universal Design Award 2012 and Bihar Gaurav Samman 2012.

Working knowledge of HDL, ORCAD, PCB design, Electronic Fabrication and testing of space qualified systems. Have worked in important space missions in University College London, NASA’s Space Shuttle and Indian Space Research Organization. He is recipient of Hari Om Ashram Prerit Vikram Sarabhai award for year 1991, C. D. Foundation Trust award for Computer Aided Woven Design Package with Computer controlled sample handloom for the year 1994-95 along with other awards.

Dr. Souradyuti Paul
Dr. Souradyuti Paul is presently working as an assistant professor of CSE at IIT Gandhinagar. He obtained his PhD in cryptology and data security from KULeuven in 2006. Afterwards he worked at the computer security division of NIST, USA, as a guest researcher, and at the school of computing of University of Waterloo, Canada, as a postdoctoral researcher. For the last ten years, Dr. Paul has worked in the areas of symmetric cryptography and hash functions; at NIST, he served on the selection team for the SHA-3 hash function standard.

Dr. Nirbhay Chaubey, MIEEE
Dr. Nirbhay Chaubey, MIEEE, currently working as an Assistant Professor of Department of Computer Science, ISTAR, affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU). He obtained his Ph.D in enhancement of security mechanism in design of MANETs using a secure routing algorithm from Gujarat University, Ahmedabad in 2014. Prior to joining ISTAR, he worked as a Lecturer and I/C head of MCA Dept., C.U.Shah College of Engineering & Technology, Surendranagar. He has published several research papers in National and International Conferences and peer-reviewed papers in reputed international journals. He has worked as a Project Trainee for the project title “Sharable Information Management System (SIMS)” for Space Application Centre (SAC), Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Ahmedabad, for the duration of 12th August 2003 to 18th June 2004. He has also worked on Deputation to Gujarat Technological University (GTU) as an Officer on Special Duty (for period of 20th February 2011 to 19th February 2012). Mr. Pathik Shah
Mr. Pathik Shah,M.Tech. (Networking & Communications), Gujarat University, is presently working with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. (TCS) as a System Engineer. He is having hands-on experience for developing solutions to enhance fundamental working of AODV routing protocol in MANETs to deal with specific security breaches. He graduated as B.E.
