Chairman Joe currently is the CEO and Founder of Virtuabotix who's tagline is 'Ideas Made Reality'.

Virtuabotix LLC is a hobby electronics, and Robotics Company in the Springs. Joe is the driving creative force behind all of Virtuabotix products and services, and currently the person who develops all the guides and technical support documentation.

With 6 1/2 years of prior military experience, and the additional 6 years of leadership experience,  I hope to contribute to the strength of our fledgling IEEE organization, and give it and its members a much need boost in energy and drive as we develop this club into awesomeness.

Vice-Chair

CTU Undergraduate Student

I first started Colorado Technical University as a high school student through Colorado Springs Early Colleges. This allowed me to graduate high school with an associates degree and begin work on my Bachelors degree. I love to travel and in 2010 I spent six months living in Beijing, China. My goal is to become a Walt Disney Imagineer and use my skills and creativity to design interactive storytelling experiences for Disney theme parks worldwide. Last fall I completed the Disney College Program where worked in Walt Disney World at Peter Pan's Flight and "it's a small world". I do social media and writing for the website www.NarniaFans.com which is the world's most popular Chronicles of Narnia website. I have been a part of the CTU IEEE branch since it relaunched.

Secretary

CTU Undergraduate Student of Software Engineering

    Education:
  • BSSE, To be completed in two-three years.

I grew up a military brat. I developed a love for computers in Seoul, S. Korea. My first programs were on a TI-82 Calculator where I found enjoyment puzzling out code to play games.

Later I joined the Navy as was introduced to MS Excel and its neat features. After my time in the military I decided to go to school and further my education; in doing so I decided that controlling computer programs was for me.

I am currently a sophmore at CTU and look forward to the years to come.

Bobby Williams - Student Senate Rep, IEEE
Bobby Williams CTU Undergraduate Student

Currently, I am at the Junior Level at Colorado Technical University. I am a Colorado native, who has had a passion for solving problems and approaching issues with new ideas and a thirst to make those ideas happen. I have enjoyed working on computers since I was in elementary school, which was when I successfully put my first computer back together. Since then, my lifetime goal has been to design a computer with an operating system with the same power and function of current and future operating systems, but the same size as operating systems in the past. This imaginative idea has allowed me to become an author as well.

Profile:

I've been a proud IEEE member since 1982.  Being retired military with over 26 years in the United States Air Force, Dr. Santiago has been involved in university level education since 1984 as a faculty member and Director of Personnel at the US Air Force Academy (1984-1989). Professor Santiago is an electrical engineer, manager, and executive with more than 30 years of leadership and aerospace experience in technical program management, acquisition development and operations research support. He has over 40 published papers and/or technical presentations.  Professor Santiago spearheaded over 40 international scientific and engineering conferences/workshops as a steering committee member while assigned in Europe. Dr Santiago has solid experience in many engineering disciplines and missions, including: control and modeling of large flexible space structures, communications system, electro-optics, high-energy lasers, missile seekers/sensors for precision guided munitions, image processing/recognition, information technologies, space, air and missile warning, missile defense, and homeland defense. He has taught a total of over 30 different classes in his career, including: numerous graduate courses in electrical and systems engineering as well as teaching undergraduate courses in electrical engineering, physics, and mathematics. Professor Santiago is married to the former Emerenciana Manaois Figuerres.
