With 6 1/2 years of prior military experience, and the additional 6 years of leadership experience,  I hope to contribute to the strength of our fledgling IEEE organization, and give it and its members a much need boost in energy and drive as we develop this club into awesomeness.

Education:

BSEE, To be completed in two-three year.

Profile:

I was born in Columbia, Missouri. During my childhood, parents believed in a rather nomadic life style. We moved, on average, every six to twelve months. This culminates around thirty addresses to date. This adventurous life style led to a unique point of view.

I was invited to serve as page, under Representative Joyce McDonald, for Washington State during the 2003 caucus. From 2007 to 2011, I was under the employment of the U.S. Army, as a mortar man.

Currently, I am a sophomore, at Colorado Technical University, studying for a bachelors in Electrical Engineering. I plan to enforce this knowledge base with additional degrees in physics and chemistry. In the future, I am going influence choices made in agriculture and power generation.  I will do a hand stnad on the in space.

CTU Undergraduate Student

Aspiring  future computer engineer, experienced and Certified in A+, Computer security, security network. Served in the Army 13 years and now medically retired. The first  time that,  I learned that I loved computer engineering was learning with my grandfather on how engineering can be used not only as a tool to enhanced our daily life's, but also to push humanity to a new age of technology in our existence.

Profile:

I've been a proud IEEE member since 1982.  Being retired military with over 26 years in the United States Air Force, Dr. Santiago has been involved in university level education since 1984 as a faculty member and Director of Personnel at the US Air Force Academy (1984-1989). Professor Santiago is an electrical engineer, manager, and executive with more than 30 years of leadership and aerospace experience in technical program management, acquisition development and operations research support. He has over 40 published papers and/or technical presentations.  Professor Santiago spearheaded over 40 international scientific and engineering conferences/workshops as a steering committee member while assigned in Europe. Dr Santiago has solid experience in many engineering disciplines and missions, including: control and modeling of large flexible space structures, communications system, electro-optics, high-energy lasers, missile seekers/sensors for precision guided munitions, image processing/recognition, information technologies, space, air and missile warning, missile defense, and homeland defense. He has taught a total of over 30 different classes in his career, including: numerous graduate courses in electrical and systems engineering as well as teaching undergraduate courses in electrical engineering, physics, and mathematics. Professor Santiago is married to the former Emerenciana Manaois Figuerres. As an entrepreneur,  he's continuing to work on implementing internet technology and processes for web-based and distance engineering education.  His efforts led him to being found on YouTube to write a book for the popular Dummies series brand by Wiley: "Circuit Analysis for Dummies".  He will be developing videos designed around his dummies book including follow-on topics not covered in the book.
