DEADLINES
August 30, 2007: Conference early registration and hotel reservation deadline. Conference registrations received after this date will be processed at the on-site rate. Hotel reservations received after this date will be accepted at prevailing rack rates on a space availability basis. AUTHOR DEADLINES January 15, 2007: Abstract and digest of proposed papers from authors received by the Technical Committee Program Chairs. Full papers received by the Industrial and Commercial Power Systems Department. March 31, 2007: Notification to authors of acceptance or rejection from Technical Committee Program Chairs. Authors' information received by authors of papers selected for presentation from the Annual Meeting Technical Program Coordinator. April 15, 2007: Authors receive via email their conference paper numbers and the information for preparing and uploading papers via the web. From this point on, all references to papers should be made using the conference paper number. June 1, 2007: Complete all items on the Author Checklist, including: 1) Submit an electronic version of all papers to the file conversion and review web site and 2) Send signed IEEE copyright forms for all papers to IEEE. No hard copy or email attachment submissions will be required or accepted. Please note that this is a firm deadline and that the processing of late papers will not be possible. Please allow several days for processing of your conference registration if you choose to register by mail or facsimile. Also, be aware that there are limited accommodations at the conference hotel and rooms are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. See the Author Instructions page for more details about submitting your paper. Note that each paper that is scheduled for presentation must be accompanied by a qualified paid registration. Authors are strongly encouraged to register using one of the three categories shown below. Full Registration - Member, IAS or IEEJ/AIE Full Registration - Member, IEEE Full Registration - Non-IEEE Member Each of the three registration categories above will allow an author to upload two papers without additional charges. An author using any of these registration categories may upload more than two papers by paying a fee of $ 125 US for each additional paper. The $125 fee should be paid using the on-line conference registration from when the author registers for the conference. Papers longer than eight pages are subject to a $250 per page fee for each page more than eight. This fee should also be paid when the author registers for the conference. Authors who have registered but still need to pay either fee should click here. As an alternative, IAS Members may upload one paper per registration using the following category: One Day Registration - Member, IAS or IEEJ/AIE IAS Life Members or IAS Student Members may upload one paper per registration using the following category: Full Registration - Life Members and Students - Full For further information, you may contact the technical program coordinator for the conference via email at ias-tpc@ieee.org or the appropriate contact person identified on the conference web site.
