STUDENT TRAVEL PROGRAM
The IAS welcomes and encourages the participation of engineering students, either graduate or undergraduate, in the Annual Meeting. Various programs are available for students. These programs are funded from grants made possible by the generosity of Mr. Myron Zucker, a long time former member and friend of IAS with a special concern for the education of young engineers.
Of particular interest to students is the Myron Zucker travel award, given to a number of students to help defray the cost of travelling to and attending the conference. This money is available for both undergraduate and graduate students. There are multiple such awards available, however, should the number of applicants exceed the available funds, priority will be given to students not presenting papers.
Applications are no longer accepted.
Also, all students, whether they are part of the travel award program or not, are invited to a special luncheon on Monday, October 4, 2010, at the Conference. This is great opportunity to network with others in your field of interest, and to get to better know the IEEE, the IAS, and what our community has to offer to you.
