For our April meeting, David Howell of the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, will present his thoughts on Ethics in our profession. This training session not only promises to be interesting but it will satisfy our annual requirement for such training. Please see the announcement for more information on the speaker.

We thank Ben Banerjee for his thought provoking presentation, Power Factor Correction Capacitors for Industrial and Large Commercial Users. We learned both the theory and approaches used to correct power factor in industrial applications and how important it is to consider such approaches when designing power systems. He was kind enough to give us a copy of his presentation to share.
