Next General Meeting: Thursday, April 29, Ethics

Please join us for our next meeting on April 29, when Davud Howell, PE, with Texas Board of Engineers, will be presenting a program on Ethics. David Howell is the Director of Licensing for the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. He has over 20 years of engineering experience working for the State of Texas, four of them with the Board. As the Director of the Licensing Division, he oversees the review of all PE applications, Firm registrations, EIT certifications and renewals in the State of Texas. The Licensing division reviews more than 2,500 PE applications per year and handles the renewals for more than 52,000 licensed Texas PEs and the 7,800 registered engineering Firms. The Licensing division also coordinates the exams for more than 6,100 examinees each year. David has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas, El Paso.
