Bio:

Having graduated from Texas A&M with a Mechanical Engineering degree, Mitch has spent the last twelve years with Toshiba International Corporation. After training at the factory in Houston for a year, he spent the next ten years working in Atlanta, Georgia. Mitch has recently moved back to his home state of Texas and now resides in Austin.

Medium Voltage Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)

A medium voltage variable frequency drive is a very expensive and complex piece of equipment. This presentation will cover the benefits of using a drive, effects of a drive on a power line, effects of a drive on a motor; different drive technologies; and other considerations
