Speaker: Ruben Corvalan, P.E., AmpSafe
   
Bio: Mr. Corvalan graduated from Cleveland State University (BSEE) in 1979. After graduation, he worked for Bechtel Power Corporation designing control systems for nuclear power plants and moved on to Cooper Industries, Bussmann Division as a sales engineer in the Los Angeles, CA territory. In 1990, Ruben moved to Monterrey, MX and founded Corvalan y Asociados de Mexico, SA de CV (CYAMSA), an electrical engineering consulting company. (See www.cyamsa.com.mx) In 2000, he moved back to the USA to San Antonio, TX and founded AmpSafe, LLC (see www.ampsafe.com) an electrical engineering consulting company which specializes in electrical engineering studies, technical training, infrared services, and safety surveys.
