The Asan Nanum Foundation is a public welfare foundation established in 2011 to commemorate the 10th death anniversary of Hyundai Group’s founder Asan Chung Ju-yung.
The Asan Nanum Foundation, a public welfare foundation established in 2011 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the death of Hyundai Group founder Asan Chung Ju-yung, encourages young entrepreneurs through various educational and cooperative programs. In all its efforts, the Foundation is guided by the belief that youthful passion and energy move society forward.
Since its inception, the Foundation’s focus has been on the nation’s youth. Programs are specifically tailored to provide guidance and opportunities to those who demonstrate great potential to move society forward with their innovative ideas, not only in the realm of business but also in the social sector.
The Asan Nanum Foundation is dedicated to facilitating the dreams of all members of society, fostering the next generation of entrepreneurs who will work actively for a brighter future, and helping and encouraging all young people to achieve their dreams.

The apartments and dormitories have been built near the company for employee housing. Most long term foreign residents are provided with housing.

Winner of the Korean Architecture Award in 1998 for its innovative interpretation of design, the Hyundai Arts Center provides members of the community with various art and musical performances from all over the world. It has a 962-seat concert hall, an art gallery, restaurants, and sports facilities that include a bowling alley, and an indoor rock climbing wall.

Hyundai Heavy operates Cultural Centers offering Various courses in culture, arts, and sports to more than 2,000 people. These centers are also equipped with swimming pools, fitness clubs, gymnasiums, restaurants, tennis courts, etc.

We also run adult education schools for spouses of employees and senior citizens.

Sports
- Ulsan Hyundai Football Club

The Ulsan Hyundai Football Club was established 1983. Based in Ulsan, the team won the Korean Football League (K-League) championship in 1996, and Korean FA Cup Championship in 2017. Team won the HFC Champion League. The club has produced many talented football players while inspiring Ulsanites and young supporters alike.
- Soccer Fields

Hyundai Heavy has built three soccer Fields and opened them to the community. These fields are used as training fields by young players from all over the country. During the FIFA World Cup, they were used as training camps by the Brazilian, Spanish, and Turkish national teams.
- Hyundai Sports Clubhouse

Located next to Seobu Soccer Field, the clubhouse is equipped with various training facilities, a cafeteria, a sauna, a computer center, and 70 rooms for athletes. The clubhouse is open to all Ulsan residents. During the 2002 World Cup, it was used by the Spanish National Football Team as their main training camp.
