July 1, 19:00-22:00
Palm Beach Hotel
Welcome Reception
Our get-together, |welcoming-each-other” reception will take place on the lawn of the Palm Beach Hotel, next to the beach and the swimming pool. The mild evening breeze and Eran Vertzberger’s internationally featured Jazz Band will soothe our minds and hearts. Delicious food and drink of all possible kinds will strengthen us facing three days of strenuous conferencing. And, if we get too hot from it all, we are welcome to dip ourselves and each other in the Mediterranean and the swimming pool (provided the Local Arrangement Chair is still in shape to supersede a lifeguard).
July 2, 18:00-20:00
Tunisian Synagogue, Rehov Kaplan 13, Akko
Guided Walking Tour in Akko
The tour will be guided in English by the famed story teller Abdu and his two colleagues. We will start with the unique Tunisian synagogue and continue to some of the sites mentioned under here, all while listening to fascinating stories from Akko’s unbelievable past and present.
The tour starts at 18:00 from the Tunisian Synagogue, Rehov Kaplan 13, Akko, located 1.3 km from the hotel. The tour participants are invited to arrive, not later than 17:30, at the Palm Beach Hotel lobby, from where we will walk together to the Tunisian Synagogue, ca. 20–25 minutes.
Note: This is a complementary guided tour, available, on a first-come-first-served basis, for conference participants and their accompanying persons, who manually register their names on the tour list when picking up the conference material at the registration desk.
July 3, 17:30-23:00

This sumptuous sit-down dinner will be held on the lawn of the Palm Beach Hotel, next to the beach and the swimming pool. Before dessert we will, in astonished, silent admiration, partake in a concert by the stunning Keren Hadar. We continue the evening with mingling, drinking, and maybe swimming . . .
