The Simulation Center, Marine Research and Development, SIDMAR, the Panama Canal Authority (ACP) has three simulators that allow the integrated functioning of bridges and participants. The Substation Banking Center is a distribution substation in operating voltages 115/13.8 kV and is built to handle a maximum capacity of 150 MVA. Today is serving two transformers of 50 MVA power each, six cells of 115 kV GIS type, AREVA and 20 cells of 13.8 kV, Siemens, in its initial phase of the project.

Other major equipment installed in the substation are: Storage space for the protection of cells and Media High Voltage, with modern digital relays, remote distributed A unit of Integrated Control ICU, cupboard with Auxiliary Services feeds 48Vdc, 125 Vdc, 120 Vac, cabinets batteries and transformers ancillary services, cabling system power of 115 kV 13.8 kV underground in the form completely.
