2011年開始，台北分會主席由蔡昌益(Maxi Tsai)接任，會務推展將著重於擴大台灣地區會員活動與人數，並持續促進協會舉辦的國際活動，讓台灣業界於產品安全設計工程新聞報及論壇上發聲。

In 2005, Taiwan Chapter was funded by 13 member's willingness and planed the activity by passion. The Chapter vision is for networking, connection of worldwide safety field, a neutral safety engineering platform and sharing the experience from industry-wide.

In the digital era, fifty-eight percent of women opt a HDTV (high-definition television) set over a one-carat diamond ring. Though the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) released this result of survey in the end of 2002, it is still convincing just now. In the meantime, people who embracing the stunning viewing screens may have good possibility of exposing themselves to radiation hazards without perception.

Chih-Hsiang (Flore) Chiang is a Staff Engineer at Underwriters Laboratories Taiwan Co., Ltd., and has been with UL since February 2002. He has worked in a number of roles within the organization, a certification engineer for information technology equipment (ITE), consumer electronics and audio/video apparatus, a regional designated engineer for ITE power supplies, a trainee and then a trainer for a variety of product safety subject matters, a writer for product safety releases and then a chief editor for monthly product safety newsletters, and a user of IEC product safety standards and then one of the collaborators developing IEC product safety standards, primarily the new hazard-based IEC 62368-1.
