Home The IEEE Virginia Council is a IEEE Region 3 entity consisting of the four IEEE Region 3 Sections within the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The purpose of the Virginia Council is to further the aims, ideals, and objectives of the IEEE, while acting as a representative organization of its members. The Virginia Council shall strive to:
Stimulate member participation in the Institute.
Improve communications among and for its member sections.
Coordinate activities of its member sections.
Promote statewide meetings and activities for the benefit of its members.
Enhance status of membership in the Institute.
Provide strong, united representation of its member sections in the Regional, National, and Transnational activities of the Institute.
