1	Branch officers assume official duties. Execute membership drive. Send applications promptly to IEEE Operations Center. Review participation in Student Paper Contest with Branch members (contact RSAC for details).
1	Full-year dues cycle begins. New members pay full-year IEEE membership and Society membership fees. All new Student applications are processed for full-year dues from 1 September through 28 February.
15	Deadline for IEEE Power Engineering Society Student Prize Paper Award in Honor of T. Burke Hayes. Awarded annually.
15	Student Branch Counselors and Chairs can use SAMIEEE to generate a membership list for their Branch at any time during the year.
